Our Impact
Building Stability. Creating Opportunities.
Our impact is measured in more than homes. It is seen in the lives transformed, the communities strengthened, and the opportunities created through the affordable, social, and disability housing we provide.

Experts in Robust Specialist Disability Housing
With years of experience delivering high-quality homes, BlueCHP are proud to be leading the way in the development of Robust Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
Our team has successfully completed a number of purpose-built Robust homes, designed to support people living with severe intellectual disabilities. These environments are both safe and empowering, with each project carefully tailored to meet the individual needs of residents. They incorporate thoughtful design features that strike a balance between independence, comfort, and long-term durability. Our focus is on creating homes that offer stability and peace of mind for residents and their families.
Through our deep understanding of the SDA framework and commitment to person-centred design, we continue to set the standard for excellence in Robust SDA housing across Australia.
Improved Wellbeing for People Living with Complex Disabilities
A person living in single-occupant Specialist Disability Accommodation and needing 2.4-hours less support per day could save the NDIS over $60,000 per person annually. This data can be referenced in the Summer Foundation’s 2022 Quantitative Research Summary.
The same report found that well-located and appropriately designed SDA was associated with significantly improved outcomes for residents in specialist disability homes.
- Overall health improved by 60%
- Wellbeing ratings improved by 66%
- Community integration scores improved by 73%
- Average daily support hours fell by 2.4 hours
- Only 66% of residents required overnight support, dropping from 87% pre-move
Solar Pilot Project
In partnership with Solar Energy Enterprises, BlueCHP launched a landmark pilot in Jordan Springs, New South Wales, to retrofit homes with rooftop solar systems.
The project was aimed at making renewable energy accessible for those who need it most. It has delivered clean, affordable power to 64 disability homes and 90 community houses, setting a new benchmark for sustainable and inclusive housing.
Since its launch in January 2023, the pilot has already generated 357,067 kWh of solar energy (as of October 2023). This translates to an estimated $127,500 in energy bill savings for BlueCHP residents, calculated using the lowest retail energy cost in the state.
Beyond the numbers, this initiative demonstrates a powerful model for delivering solar at scale to low-income households and families who would otherwise be locked out of the renewable energy transition.
Supporting Local Charities – We Are Community
At BlueCHP, our commitment to impact extends beyond housing. We proudly support ‘We Are Community’, a charity organisation that provides vital food relief services across the Macarthur region in south-west Sydney.
Via weekly and monthly programs, We Are Community offers Community Meal Services, delivering freshly cooked meals, food hampers, toiletries, and essential items, as well as care, connection, and support for vulnerable members of the local Campbelltown community.
This grassroots organisation is often the first line of support for individuals and families doing it tough, ensuring that no one in the region is left hungry or isolated.
BlueCHP’s backing helps We Are Community expand its reach and strengthen its services, so more people can access the essentials they need to live with dignity. Together, we are working to reduce hardship and build stronger, more resilient neighbourhoods.
