The Worrigee development includes 26 properties with a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom homes, 6 of which are social housing with the balance affordable housing. Southern Cross Community Housing manages the Worrigee development on behalf of BlueCHP who was the developer and is the owner of the new dwellings.
The Worrigee development is situated in the south of Nowra, supporting people on moderate incomes, including young families who pay 75% of market rent. BlueCHP played a central role in the success of the project, ensuring it met with community expectations, configuring the new housing to complement the surrounding suburb.
