This Robust Specialist Disability Home was the first dwelling delivered under BlueCHP’s 'Guide You Home' SDA initiative
Following BlueCHP’s 7-Step Guide You Home process, our participant-led approach to building and providing disability accommodation, this Robust home in Rydalmere was designed to suit the needs of the two young adults.
The residents required a home that provided each of them with plenty of space. Having separate wings was crucial in creating their own private areas, with private living spaces designed to suit their individual preferences and living requirements.
The large backyard features privacy fences and was designed to be an area for active enjoyment of the outdoors, including a pool, outdoor hammock, and dedicated garden spaces.
Other features include: raised ceiling, private wings for each resident, lockable pantry, shared living and outdoor patio space, and hidden storage for necessities.
